Biography
I am an art student with degree in Art History. I have been a painter all my life. As testified by the collection of art saved by my parents from my earliest years. While in High-school, ten years ago, I began entering my art into shows and selling it at festivals. At this time I have sold my art all across the nation and have several published works of art. I have painted in all the common mediums including; oil, acrylic, ink, and watercolor. My specialty is watercolor and ink, but have found a measure of success in murals done in acrylic. My style could be labeled impressionistic realist, which means my images are represented so that they are recognizable, but not precisely duplicated and I want to bring a message that is truth.
My philosophy of Art is that it is meant to carry a message. Although emotions are incorporated as an element to communicate that message, for me emotion is not the message itself but a means to an end. The messages I communicate are always positive, whether they encourage someone that there work is not futile, inspire a sense of peace and joy, or relate a renewed outlook on life.
